Product Description
Extremely high-quality Q-Railing clamping glass fixing for 10mm glass thickness. Includes spacer gaskets (2 pcs). Suitable for balustrade and staircase glass as well as other general glass fixing applications. Features a removable base plate that prevents glass slippage during large temperature fluctuations.
Always ensure compliance with building regulations for glass type and thickness. Glass thickness is selected according to span. As of 2025, the recommendation is that balustrade glass should be tempered+laminated glass. Thicknesses between 4+4 - 12+12mm depending on span.
Safety pin available separately (requires drilling hole in glass).
Usage Instructions
Clean the glass thoroughly from grease and dirt to ensure sufficient friction. Attach the fixing with a suitable sturdy screw to the structure and ensure that the structure can withstand balustrade loads. Spacer gaskets are placed on both sides of the fixing to enable even clamping pressure along the entire surface. The base plate prevents glass slippage.
Always consider building regulations and wind loads, line loads, and point loads. The designer must ensure adequate structural capacity and safety of both the structure and glass.
