About Hinges
All hinges: All hinges are supplied with separate heat-resistant gaskets for between the hinge clamping parts and glass to withstand sauna heat.
Corner Rounding
If you wish, you can choose corner rounding for glass corners. After normal polished edge grinding, the 90-degree corners of glasses remain sharp. With corner rounding you add to the finishing level, safety and strength of glasses.
Examples of benefits:
- Safety: when opening the door, the bottom edge of the door may accidentally scrape the foot, rounded corner feels soft and does not scratch the skin
- Aesthetics: corner rounding brings a finished appearance
- Durability: although tempered thick glass withstands hundreds of kilos of snow loads on the roof, both tempered and normal glass are sensitive to breaking from even small impacts IF the impact comes from corner or edge - corner rounding does not remove this property but reduces sensitivity. For example, during installation corner rounding might "save the situation" if the corner of heavy glass e.g. lightly scrapes a hard surface - sharp corner against hard surface can cause glass breakage immediately or delayed seconds, minutes or hours later (tempered glass may not crumble immediately after impact but only after a moment). When tempered, glass is still safe even when broken, because tempered glass always breaks into small crumbs.
Quality guarantee: We always make corner rounding mechanically by grinding and finish the grinding with polishing, so it is not just sandpaper-scraped rounding.

Installation notes:
- Since installation openings are usually not exactly at 90.00 degree angles and exactly the same measurements from all points, we supply U-strips slightly over-long so that during installation you can trim strips exactly to opening measurements and angles.
- We also do not pre-drill strips because there is a risk that ready holes hit places where screws cannot be attached. Sometimes it may also be necessary to glue e.g. bottom strip instead of screw attachment

- Polished, brushed and gold strip: Width 13mm x Height 19mm
- Black strip: Width 12mm x Height 22mm

It is important to note that glass appearance varies according to lighting conditions. If the sauna has no window and uses dim lights, all glass options - from clear to tinted - may appear significantly darker than in our promotional images.
This is because the bright washroom reflects light onto the glass, creating contrast with the dark sauna. On the other hand, if the sauna has a large window or strong lighting, glass shades appear closer to the colors we present in our studio sample images, where glass is illuminated from both sides.

What glass thickness is recommended for sauna glass wall?
Standard sauna glass walls use 8mm tempered safety glass, while some specialty glasses are 10mm. All edges are finished with polished edge grinding. This thickness provides optimal safety, durability and heat resistance in sauna conditions.
What are the differences between hinge types?
Standard and Deluxe are spring hinges that automatically pull the door closed with spring force - 180° opening. Deluxe offers primarily aesthetic upgrade with elegant covers and slightly better centering. Premium hydraulic hinges provide ultimate convenience - you never need to guide the door closed, it closes smoothly and silently with adjustable speed.
Can I install sauna glass wall myself?
Yes! Complete installation instructions and mounting hardware included (screws, adhesives etc. not included as they must be selected for your specific wall materials). Measure openings at 3 points, measurements should be within a few mm of each other. Check straightness with level.
How do I measure the glazing opening correctly?
Measure the opening at minimum 3 points (top, middle, bottom) for both width and height. Measurements should be within a few mm of each other - larger variations can be corrected during installation with shims behind mounting strips. Check straightness with level. We make necessary reductions automatically.
What glass colors and finishes are available?
Extensive selection: clear, extra clear, smoke, bronze, mirror chrome, striped, decorative patterns and exclusive "Winter Day's Pause" ultra-dark glass. All with polished edges and optional nano-coating.
What warranty is included?
5-year warranty on tempered glass and 2-year warranty on hinges and hardware. Covers material defects and manufacturing issues. All fittings available in polished, brushed, black or gold finishes.
Should I deduct anything from my measurements when ordering?
No! Give us the exact tight measurements of your openings. We automatically calculate and make all necessary deductions to glass dimensions to ensure perfect fit with proper installation gaps.
What does the order confirmation include?
Within 1 business day you receive: confirmation of your measurement drawing, final glass manufacturing dimensions, detailed list of all supplied accessories. Everything is verified before production begins.
How long does manufacturing take?
Each sauna glass wall is custom manufactured to your exact specifications. Manufacturing time (ready to ship) is typically 2-4 weeks depending on current workload and season. You can see the current estimated shipping date next to the price field when ordering.
How does glass appearance depend on lighting?
Glass shade perception depends on light balance from both sides. If the sauna is dark (no window, dim lights) and the washroom is bright, the glass appears darker because more light reflects from the bright side than transmits through from the dark side. When both sides are equally lit, the true glass color shows. Note that promotional photos almost always differ from how glass appears in your installation due to lighting differences.
